Skills Nationals 2023

Last week we sent a team down to Wellington for the DNZ Skills Testing and Age Group C & D National Championship. Dryland Facility

Thank you so much to Fe from CrossFit Te Rapa for allowing us to use her space as a dryland room! This is the next step in developing the divers strength and skills! North Islands 2023

North Islands 2023 Done and Dusted Thank you so much to Wellington Diving Club for a fantastic weekend at the North Island Championship 2023! Some of the divers first event in Wellington, or outside of Hamilton in a while. Appreciation to our Sponsors for Term 2 pool hire.

A successful weekend

Waikato Diving hosted a great event over the weekend. A very high standard of diving was displayed by New Zealand's up and coming divers. 50 divers attended from Diving Otakou, Diving Waitakere, North Harbour Diving and ourselves. New Zealand Nationals

Waikato is getting excited as the time draws nearer to welcome dive clubs from around NZ to the Junior and Master Nationals for 2022. Preparation is well under way and Waikato divers are training hard perfecting their dives.  The committee, coaches and divers are looking forward to hosting this  event, seeing the dive boards full and some spine-tingling action. Hi We are back to normal this week. So see you all at your normal times. North Islands - We have 31 entries so far and only 1 is from Waikato. So please get your entries in sooner rather than later. Its takes me hours and hours of work to get the schedule together. So the more info I have earlier the better. If not sure of your skills level talk to you coach. I can change a week out if need

Special Award

Danny Hallen our club president was awarded a trophy by Hamilton Mayor Andrew King at The Waikato Diving Championships in July this year.  Danny was recognised for his contribution and dedication to the club.   Danny's countless hours have grown the club to what it is today and under his guidence continues to flourish.  Danny has created a caring family like environment
