Skills Nationals 2023

Last week we sent a team down to Wellington for the DNZ Skills Testing and Age Group C & D National Championship.

We are so proud of everyone who competed over the last weekend, and want to thank everyone who helped one way or another to help the divers compete. Thank you for those who came down to one of our sausage sizzles at Bunnings Te Rapa, those donations helped both the club and the divers who went down to Wellington. 

We had a bit of a rocky start to the event with a last minute flight cancellation for our main coach Charlotte and a couple of our divers, but thanks to the amazing diving community we have throughout NZ they were able to make up there missed events the following day.

A massive thank you to our Chairperson Danny, who stepped up to help coach throughout the weekend, and to our Junior coach Charlotte who took on the role of head coach for the event where the divers competed amazingly under her.
